you didn't put conditions on that

you let me believe in something

    only trust - you said
our eyes were all the assurance I needed

our clasped hands gave me hope
    I'll accept and love every part of you - you said
and I promised the same

but I'm only human
I crumble 
when I try to hold up both ends
of our promise
