peeking & peering & prodding into me
 do you see
    anything worth keeping

    a tumble into Wonderland
   or Happily Ever After?
 am i Alice
  or the Red Queen
  or the little white rabbit
a mystery
a luxury
   or just a bad habit?
 is my soul the soul
  of your next Snow White
 or do I get you through the night
   that leads to the morning
     of my death
the same dawn you'll draw
   your first breath
