cathexis

     something in me stirs
      and boundaries blur
       and who I am
         is irrelevant
       and who you are
         is trivial
     something is created
     something sparkling and deep
            and true
        an infinity of surprises
         and we are joined
            by it
          and transformed
            and the world
               as we knew it
                   melts away
        leaving us
           alone
        sustained by
          the ecstasy
