A Drug's Pain

I swear your eyes
   change color.
The harder the pain
   the darker they get.

They're always pretty though.

From the day I met you
   I couldn't see 
     through the pain.

How bad is it?

You know... the pain.
     The pain that makes 
   Your eyes change color.

Oh, there is no pain?
   It's the drug taking effect.
