RAIN
The rain outside is getting stronger
And I laid back in the comfort of my bed.
I can feel the breath of the cold night
As icy as the tormenting words we had said.
A knock at the door made me look out the window
I saw your silhouette standing still under the rain
Silently pleading for me to take you back
Again… again… again…
I walked back to bed and pretended to sleep
Closing my eyes, covering my ears
But I can still imagine your face
Smiling underneath your tears.
You’ve hurt me so many times
Apologizing in every chance
Knowing I’d always be here for you
Loving you in a trance.
I can still feel you’re out there
But I can’t dare look and see
You’ve broken my heart to it’s obsolence
Now leave my soul with me.
