A Blender Tribute
It's been so long
since you last visit
this place
and I'm sad
you dropped by
just to
submit a poem
and say
"I'm sorry"
when it's my really fault
for a moment
of not
trusting you
enough.
Well, you missed a lot!
hope you find
the new submissions
beautiful,
because I do!
lots of them,
I admire
I love...
Their sad poems
bring tears
to my eyes...
my heart
skipped
a beat
in every word
painting
ominous monsters
in my head;
Those dark,
cold places
I never want
to return to
ever again...
yes, I love them!
because I fear
of losing you
to the dark
and cold nights
and fight
the old demons again...
Their lonely poems
send shivers
as my
longing
are spelled Out
in words
being
e n g r a v e d
in my heart.
These poets
are like ghosts
travelling
with me
to Reach
Out
to their
loved ones -
only...
to find out
their touch
wouldn't mean
tactility,
only...
to discover
their frustrated
craving
undiminishing
but intensifying!
yes, I love them!
because
you're so
close
yet so
far!
their words
cradled me in
their arms
of constant
wanting...
for you.
I wish!
I
could touch
you
(now...)
the way
raindrops
touch
your cheeks
and fall
down
to your lips
every
afternoon
drizzle...
Oh! how can I forget
those stories
they told
in their
rhymes
and
verse!
I see thru their
Hearts
like
looking thru a
Kaleidoscope
yielding
beautiful patterns
at every t u r n
of the e a r t h!
yes, I love them!
because I wish
we were
glittering
bits of paper
dancing
within
as God's
caring hands
turn our life
together...
The WISE ones
remind us
of what
love really is
during our
waking hours.
each passing
night,
your Voice
is the last one
I hear
with
Promises of
"I'll see you
there
in my
dreams..."
but the
images of
these poems
shouldn't
for once
evade
from my
subconscious
mind...
tales
of adventure...
and of sorrow...
and of mistakes...
and of disappointments...
and of regrets...
make us
a little
sensible
when we ourselves
are in complete
abandon
...of time
...of means
...of rest
...of reason;
spoiled brats
we are
to each
other
because of
overflowing
L O V E.
yes, I love them!
for they remind us
in assuring
we'd last
F O R E V E R
and we'll never succumb
to such despair.
these poets are
like our friends
giving an ounce
of caution
of warning
of wisdom
of care.
Yes, for sure
we'll WAKE up
to weave
from threads
of love
a beautiful quilt...
(with no fingers
bleeding!)
Hopeful ones
are like rays of
sunshine
dawning
our paths
together
for yet
another day
of loving!
Miracles
are what seemed
to be the
MOST
believable
thing since
YOU
bring
light and art
back to my life.
yes, i love them!
because they
made us stronger
in pursuit
of our bliss...
i'm sure
these poets
would be our
cheerleaders
once we
make it
until
the
end.
yes! i love
these poems
so much
also because
i feel
L O V E
flowing
from Y
O
U
to
M
E
(and vice versa)
amidst
the mountains,
cars,
fools
and beasts...
but...
the B E S T
poetry
ever written
is the one
i'm reading
in our hearts...
(your scribbled name
is a stroke of
permanent ink
on my
onion-skinned
heart
from a pointed,
rolling,
cajoling tip!)
OUR P O E M gave
...meaning
...color
...life
to these
masterpieces
undeprived
by souls
we met
along the way....
T H A N K S Blenderites (an awful lot)!
