Good Friends

Good friends...good friends...
  If that's where it starts, then
       where...
            does it end?

I feel so small, and so...inadequate
                     as if the thoughts and feelings...
did I ask too much?
    was it more than you've got?

Quite probably it is...and will be...
   so bide ou time -- well, your
time -- because there's no rush but only

reasons to wait
        reasons I hate--
and when the time comes for you to discover...

                        I fear it will be too late.
