to the ever pleasant reality
of my arms around u as i awake
so beautiful when full aware
heart stopping as u sleep
hair so black it holds night kiss
drift my fingers through to capture bliss
careful ahhh so careful lest u wake
for now i will enjoy holding u close
feel ur warmth radiating into my heart
close my eyes to feel your soul
deep in the arms of mine
