my word is no good
or, maybe my words,
                      here
or
        there
I'm asked if I still love
as if my word
-- once love has been 
        spoken into existence --
could ever be abolished
if I were not true to my love 
        and therefore true to my words
or,
why I love 
when my only question 
is how could I not?
