Just over 8 hours. I was in British Columbia, he in Seattle. We talked for 5 1/2 hours, listened to each other breathe for about 30 minutes and fell asleep for 2 hours! Laughed our butts off about that, till he got the bill!

Oh, who knows, probably some of the endless blathering on and on in high school. Most romantic was probably telling my cross-town girlfriend to go look up at the moon at the same time, it was really big and pretty that night.

The night that I told a lover that it was over. He called me around 5:30 PM to tell me that he (once again) couldn't come and see me because he had to "work late" (read: he got too drunk after work to drive down to my apartment). He said I love you... I couldn't say it back. I have rules about doing that stuff over the phone but it just happened that way. We hung up on each other several times but would call back in moments. I think the "conversation" finally ended around 1:30. And... to top it off... I was on my CELL PHONE.

Last night....7 HOURS! I cannot believe how incredible this guy is! What does it mean when you're usually a very pragmatic person but all of a sudden you can't get a guy out of your head??! SCARY!

7 hours...from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m., then he decided he had to see me, and drove 45 minutes to my house....that was an amazing night. The romance was short-lived, but it was intense.
