Whispers from your lips

Of images that fade
Eyes flutter so softly
As your body is still

My hand upon your chest
Hearts beating together
Studying every curve
Every slight expression
Your long exhaled breaths
Dance over my chest
A life spent here
Listening to you breathe
Would be nothing less
Then pure heaven
