The tale of Triamly and Trimmly Is one from long ago, It's a tale of two twin brothers, Bonded forever at the soul Triamly wasn't a nice man sometimes angry in his disposition he never needed assistance -quite a capable fellow to carry on by hisself He needed a home though, and love he desired most and right when he thought he had those things He got a letter from the post... Trimmly was kind of a shy man his dark hair shielding him from the sun he hadn't many friends, hadn't much money but in luck, he sure had some He couldn't figure out just what was missing his life seemed complete thus far, Till that morning he woke up late, and heard some news for him, at the bar.... Triamly packed his belongings, wanting to reach his brother in a flash, He never liked urgent news, but he new he must make haste His brother never sent him letters and he knew that this one should be kept in regard but he never knew that answering that letter would make his memory sung by the bard,,,,, Trimmly ran too and fro, wandering for a moment, he couldn't understand the news that he had heard, His brother summoned him to fight by his side, but no war was in progress, no battle or sound, But he packed it up in any case, and ran out of the door and poor Trimmly, he never knew, how his life would change, forever more One September morning, the second to be precise, Triamly and Trimmly, walked up to each other, neither looking quite nice, their weather stained clothes, and dirty face and hair, but they embraced each other anyways, they were only glad to be there They talked to one another of all they'd left behind, of the love and laughter, song and regret, they knew they may never find, but Triamly brought up the letter, and Trimmly gasped aloud it seems that neither wrote the letter or knew the man that sent it out But they walked down the road to an inn, content with one nights rest, and they saw 20 men, weapons in hand, eying this woman, and her beautiful breast, Triamly and Trimmly tried to walk on by their business being that of a twins love, but Trimmly heard the words they were saying to her, and gave the biggest man a shove... A fight broke out with fists at first, then weapons they were a flying, and Trimmly went down with a sword in his arm and a loud screaming and a crying, Triamly was filled with anger and hewed the man in half he cut another down in a second and at the third he had to laugh.... Now there were 17 on 2, the odds weren't looking very good, but Trimmly and Triamly stood up back to back, knowing the time for their souls to do some good, At that moment you could tell that those two were more than just they seemed, and when the villagers came out to watch the fight Trimmly and Triamly's sword blades gleamed, They fought like warrior peasants, they fought with the fury of hell, when all was done, 17 more men had fallen, but they themselves were fallen as well, The bodies of the men, were piled in a heap and burned, but the twin brothers died back to back, sitting, holding their swords in hand, The villagers never touched the twins corpses, and the swords remain in the ground still, they blow in the wind, and outlast the rain, and I believe that they always will, They're love for each other ran deeper than blood, but no chance passerby could it be seen, They loved each other so very much, That each other was all that they needed, Over that town, does it seldom storm but drought happens almost never, the birds and animals, flower and fawn, are plentiful there, they call it home, If you ask anyone about the story, of Trimmly and Triamly the twins, they might just ask you, to ask yourself, and the love you hold within, In every person this tale is true, And looking inside is the only way, To actually figure out how deep their love was, when they secretly wrote to each other on a letter,,, "Let's meet, and happy birthday"....... |
