A dark spot fills my mind Looking back to that evening Seeing me as someone I am Not taking advantage of a Friend now feeling that relationship Can never heal, never grow To what I hoped it would The promises I spoke I wanted To believe to be true, I now Know as hard as I tried, as Pure as those words seemed I Have been dismissed into the Emptiness of time I will never be able to remove The pain I feel for destroying Her pride and her family for Those things, her feelings I Carelessly disregarded where And eternity will never heal |
