The feeling of you leaving me, to go to war.... has had me in turmoil for weeks. How I would feel if something happened to you, I have tried to talk to you about it. You sit there with no reaction, no words, and kiss me on my cheek. And now I realize, it may not be war that takes you away from me, I can see in your eyes... you are already gone... I am left alone, to cry, not understanding, where you are, who your heart is with, only knowing that it is no longer with me. |
