I awoke to a phone call. Mike's voice was quivering, and the words he spoke,chilling. "Turn it on CNN...2 planes just crashed into the World Trade Center!" I ran to the TV, to see something I have never in my life even thought about at all. The smoke, the fire, the fear in those peoples eyes. My mouth dropped, my eyes bled with tears. I was lost for words, dropped quickly to my knees, just watching, silently... and I have remained in the same spot, the same state of mind, almost for days! |
