Dearest, are you watching? I am watching you... always watching and paying close attention. I found you just as plainly as you me. (I drop clues...come find me) Gone is the warmth and respect I reserve for kind souls; you seemed to be a ball of light placed into dim quarters. Affection, smiles, and extended hands replaced with contempt mindful glares and veiled threats. I see you hiding 'neath transparent celluloid shelters. I don't care where you studied... label your forked tongue if you please. I am a mountain. I have strength in my walls; think of me as your barrier. No metaphors or idyllic moments left. I read that book, own that CD, saw that film - oh, brilliant one. There is little time to spare for boyish crushes. In loves squander, you have lost wit. I have seen your wooden horse coming; a face to launch a thousand ships. Don't play those games with me, tepid boy. I am unequaled in the storm I bring. I will wash over you in typhoid fevers. Tap...Tap...Tap Ring...Ring...Ring Sniff...Sniff...Sniff Your world infected mine; sounds and smells. You have no territory left to harbor you. For all your lurking, you gain only more confusion. There is no therapy in poems, song, and theatre for you. Rather, inject yourself with lithium morphine and absinth. Is that the best you can do? If so, you will be simple prey. Accept my challenge if you be so bold. Make your presence known - stand and be heard. Dare I provoke Lucipher ? Such titles give you power. From here to fore, you are just my shrinking Blue Devil. |
