Finally

For so long I thought I needed him,
I daydreamed about him everyday,
He showed up in my dreams at night,
Always haunting me.
Then, one day, it stopped,
Found myself thinking of someone else,
And I had to laugh.
So much wasted time,
Wasted thoughts,
When I could have been focusing on me.
It felt really good,
Still does;
To know that I've finally moved on,
And will never look back.
