Like the planets resist the pull of the burning sun in a sky that's full of black holes, asteroids falling stars the pull for me is wherever you are. Like a moonbeam trips the tide like a watch that ticks with the beat inside how my heart subsisted I never knew til the day I met and fell for you. Like the age old sun that may burn itself out like the stars that scatter and fall about the earth, the sea, the sand and sky what I'm feeling now may someday die. But like the evening sky that first wishing star the ghosts of galaxies near and far a shooting star that's burned down to an ember; my head may forget you but my heart will remember. |
