I wanted to hold you, But, I didn't know how. I wanted to take away your fears, But, I couldn't tell how. I wanted to take away the tears, That gently slid down your face. I wanted to see you smile, Take your mind to a better place. I wanted to crawl inside, Ease your pain. To see your eyes sparkle with laughter, To see you happy, even when it rains. I wish there was something I could say, To make the torment in your heart disappear. Yet, I know there is nothing, And I know the time is now, it is here. I know you might think I don't understand, Hard to seem that in my 19 years I do. But, it doesn't matter what the answers are, Just know that I truly do love you. |
