You told me once that I was your drug And that I was your addiction Let's define Addiction: " compulsive need for and use of a habit-forming substance (as heroin, nicotine, or alcohol) characterized by tolerance and by well-defined physiological symptoms upon withdrawal; broadly : persistent compulsive use of a substance known by the user to be harmful" You said you needed me..that you would die without me I thought I would never lose you But I was wrong Now I wonder how you lost your addiction to me so soon Because I don't see any physiological attempts anywhere And I'm left behind feeling like the addict |
