Last night I finally talked, a brick lifted from my back. I was able to look at you in a different light, able to see your eyes. All I've ever wanted to do is open up my heart. I'm finally learning how to do it, but I'm finding out it may be too late. One thing I didn't say last night, the thing I couldn't say Please, don't hurt me, I can't bear to take the pain. For you my heart is pure, my love is completely true. But if you must, please be true. Don't hide, or run, just be real. |
