Tempt

These lips burn
for the fury of your
kiss
a small action I've
let neglect me
out of hurt from the
past
I could trace them
line by line
from memory
like drawing on a foggy
window pane
mindlessly
but the reality
is real
and tempt
will throw me
back to the fire
again
