Lying on my bed.. You're asleep in my arms I can smell you And I can almost taste your skin with my tongue (I think I will) Yum. That tasted good. I can feel you breathing heavily Your off and away lost in dreamland How I wish I could see what you're seeing I know by the way your breathing you're having a good dream I sigh and pull you in closer You sigh, turn around, and move in closer Wrapping your arms around me as well Now finally I can see your beautiful face I've only been dreaming of it all night you know I brush my hand through your hair I know how much you like that, even if you are asleep I move in as close as possible And I kiss you on the forehead Oh no! I almost forgot! I promised I would wake you up before sunrise So we could watch it together... Hmmm. Forget that. You feel so good in my arms. I think I'll just lie to you when you wake up And say that I over slept as well "Oh well, I guess we'll just have to watch it tomorrow." I'll say. Whats the point in getting up to watch a silly sunrise? When I can start my day right here With you in my arms and me in yours I got all the sunshine I need. |
