trap your essence
between the fibers
I want to trace the lines
shaping your eyes
and paint their muddy blackness
foolish enough to try to
reproduce the passion
make the colors scream your name
i can only draw the shapes
i've seen before
tracing the pain of eyes
twisted torn
by the agony of your
absence
