You let my hand
fall
silently from this
love
like rain
and my drowning heart
tried to rise above
breathe air
seek sunlight
embrace anything
your anger denied me
I was never the ONE-
I like to squish my toes
in the mud
suck soup through my teeth
sleep in spoons
