I really do

Sometimes I just want to call you and ask you how things are going in your life.

Even though its been awhile and things would be weird.

I'm sure the conversation would begin with an ackward silence that is finally broken when I ask you "So, how are things?"

And you answer and we go through the process of maintaining a conversation.

I almost call, but I remember when we were still together you saying;

"My ex-boyfriends only call me because they want to get back into my pants."

Well I was always different if you remember...

I just want to call you
And ask you how your life is
Because I still care
