I neither hurt, nor smile
I am just numb
Kind of like when you get burned,
And your skin is scolded, blistered.
Then heals, and nothing is left but a scar.
Nothing is felt in that spot,
Not even another burn,
Such is my heart,
Locked inside a layer of scar tissue...
