I'm not perfect And yes I know Bubble gum stays in your stomach For seven or eight years but I still swallow it I still stay up past my bedtime and complain that i don't get enough sleep I don't like my vegetables and I hate going to the dentist I steal cookies from the cookie jar and I always spoil my appetite before supper I swear, I yell, I cuss I fucking swear that will never change! i do my laundry a week late i pay my bills a month later and if I find money on the street I'm going to keep it i drive beyond the speed limit and if it's possible i'll walk to where i need to go i read between the lines i was never good at studying but I still got those A's im that kid that was always late to class hardly did his homework and talked during class but still managed to get into honors and graduate near the top of his class you don't need to love me I don't need to love you and, no, this doesnt have to work out this love won't be perfect it wont begin or end like a fairy tale this is reality and im just asking that you live it with me I'm not perfect And yes I know Bubble gum stays in your stomach For seven or eight years but I still swallow it |
