there's something else innocent in May
while deviously you portray
always sweetness to me
a hug without the rub
a kiss without the tongue
a smile made of smirks
and other such
goofy quirks
maybe the answer lies
in something like
something wise
yet I read my trust
within your eyes
and know by
aversion causing diversion
you have no more
innocence to hide
so I clue in where it feels
hysterically ticklish
to this wandering mind
this month you've shown
without our physicality's
usual condone
that I love you even more
as your reserved actions
go without say
when you act out your
cunning innocence
