Lay me down under the stars on a moonlit night. Let me hear the waves crash, peacefully, against the shore. My body becomes one with the sound . As I watch the sky, eyes half shut, the stars move closer. Lay me down upon the cool sand. Let me feel the grains fall between my fingers and toes. The earth is my pillow, my mind becomes at ease As the salty air fills my chest, I am at peace. Lay me down under the stars on a moonlit night On this beach, waves crashing, boats sailing in the distance My mind and body free from all the day's stresses. As I watch the sky, eyes half shut, the stars collide. |
