Please forgive me,
if I smile too much
or laugh a lot.
Just know you make me happy.

Please forgive me,
if I am quiet
or seem to stare.
I love listening to you and watching your every move.

Please forgive me,
if I hug you too tight
or hold on just a little longer after you let go.
I can't seem to be close enough to you.

And please forgive me,
if I tell you I love you too many times
or perhaps I cry whenever you tell me.
But always believe me when I say it and know those tears are real.
