I can tell you
the names of stars and constellations
and when the sun will rise and set
in Portland.

I can tell you
when to change the oil in your car
how to fix the plumbing
and reformat your hard drive.

I can tell you
where and how I grew up
to whom and how I gave my heart
and why I'm quiet sometimes.

But I can't tell you I love you
and you would be better off
not knowing, if I did.
