I am incapable
of self-containment.
I can't lie
I can't sugar coat the truth
I can't hide things
or keep secrets
no matter my promise
or who it was made to
the truth roils and seethes
beneath the surface
until it comes raging through
the mouth of the volcano

and good or bad
words spew forth, actions are taken
kisses and wild caresses
stolen sex
desire, treachery
it's all done
because I want it done
and I cannot seem
to censor myself
