I open my back door
and go in my house.
I have created
comfort here.
I can only enjoy
one room at a time.
I have found peace
in contentment here.
I can only furnish,
paint, remodel and
admire one room
at a time.
I like my house.
But I truly love
one of the rooms.
It is because
I want to do this
very, very much.
I light candles,
a fire, soft lights,
music, find romance
everywhere
in this room
I enjoy the most.
Some of my rooms
have hinged doors.
I rarely completely
close these doors,
except for my
front door.
Unlike my welcoming
back screendoor,
on the front door
I have a lock.
Two keys came with
that lock.
You can be my
favorite room.
Or, share it
with me, darling.
Let me also give you
a front door key.
Two can make this
house a home.
Two can share
all the rooms.
Come home to me.
Let me be your home.
