For a Moment

      Crying inside where no on can see
  Screaming to be set free
Wanting to know you
                     Wanting to be.
     I don't want to hurt
                          I don't want to bleed.
        Starting again without taking heed
  Impossible
          To see
                 You look my way and hold my gaze
                            Steadily
                           Confidently
             For a moment I am all you see.
       Then another light saunters up
                                     You are gone.
    A passing glow in a life full of night
Leaving
        And I must stand alone.
