My Best Friend

A friend is someone who's always there,
To let you bend their ear,
Who shows they care.

My friend does all that and plenty more,
When I go out to see her she's already at my door.
When I pick up the phone it's always engaged,
Cus she's trying to phone me I know cus she's paged.
When I crying a tear she's there with a tissue,
When I feel the world don't need me she says I'd miss you.
When I'm being an idiot she's there to tell me,
When I want to act on impulse she says wait and see.
When I'm with her I'm myself I don't have to pretend,
And that's why she's best see cus she's my best friend.
