THE SEA SAGA
GRATEFUL TO MY HEART
What were the chances
in a lifetime of uncertainties,
in finally returning to something I loved ...
so vast as the sea,
that there I would meet you,
the love of my life.
Something ... some greater,
higher power had to be working here.
I am grateful to my heart for recognizing it.
Again, it has not failed me
when your heart and words have said "Soulmate" to me across a great distance.

OFFSHORE
Take a bright star to steer by
the oceans for our adventure
the sun to brighten our lives
the moon to make love under
What more do we need, darling,
except each other and eternity!

THE HURRICANE
I gather strength from
this approaching storm
To tie-down, to brace, prepare
for this assault
Much like I make-ready for you
and your love
Until you finally learn to be the
eye of the storm.

THE SEA
All I have to do is look into your eyes, and I know the sea that I have fallen into . . .
the dangers, and the feeling of being gently buoyed on soothing swells . . . sure
that there will be a time when this sea will
suck me down to its depths ... yet, I drift here,
for I have always longed for the sea.

losing les licornes
What feelings lurk behind this veil
of black clothe and long dry tears?
There was once a time set to sail,
but blue was oft' replaced in fears.
Some say that love will never die --
if love was pure and not this lie ....
