I almost pulled into the gas station parking lot, until I saw you pulling out, and in a hurry I turned my blinker off, drove as fast as I could... and went to the next one. All because I am trying to stay away from you, and you are doing the same. And I find it strange, that I never even knew you were at the bar that night, until I left and walked directly into your bike rack on your truck. Had I known you were there, I would have probably left earlier, probably been misserable, and I doubt I would have taken his phone number. And then you, you said "I saw you lastnight." and my heart almost stopped... as if I had done something wrong. When the truth is... Maybe not seeing you there was right, because I haven't seen you since your hands hit me hard, and your words so much harder, and I don't really think I could take... looking at you in this new perspective. |
