cold weather like this makes me think of you and Campbells Chicken Noodle Soup i remember i would come home after a day at work or school with the apartment full of that familiar and inviting aroma of you cooking me a can of Campbells chicken soup i would eat it slowly let the warmth invade my body and savour every spoon filled gulp and you would sit next to me and listen to me moan and groan about my day and my problems and the rest of here would just fade away as my stomach filled with your love you always loved to say the extra ingredient was love but now you're gone sometimes i wonder where we went wrong but that doesnt matter anymore all that matters is that this winter im left without you but i'll still eat Campbells chicken soup when it's cold but it just isnt the same... |
