when the breath catches

when your eyes swallow 
my gasp, while your hands 
brand me with another flaming

....sing me into an arch 
torture me past the midnight of our

again the breath from an aching 
throaty cry 
while the tangle of sheets 'round 
ankles 
leave pearl painted parted thighs
