Peter Pan was stupid when Wendy held his hand He took her high above the clouds to never-never land They were enchanted evenings with star-lit open skies the promise of forever reflected in their eyes Why did he take her home again and leave her in her room abandoned and neglected for years in lonely gloom Yes, Peter Pan was stupid though he had the power to fly he thew away that Wendy girl and made her sad heart cry They could have flown forever for all eternity It's foolish men like Peter Pan so blind, that they can't see |
