His ashes have been scattered upon the open sea to travel all the world around his spirit was set free The toil and the trouble that vexed his aching heart were cast away that very day this life he did depart He told me of the Captains that sailed to foreign shores ancestors of his parents his kin that came before He loved to read the legends of the sailors and their ships the adventures of his kinsmen their many ocean trips And now he shares that voyage upon the open sea in glory he has joined them his spirit was set free |
