Skydiving

I can tell you have been skydiving
the land was a little rocky
you went without a parachute again

I know you like to take the risk
the thrill when you stand on the edge
jump and free fall
the excitement can not be
expressed in words

I know you are very capable
of giving all you have
with a compassion
that you yourself
can not see

I promise
that someday
the landing
gets easier

But
until then
enjoy the fall

because
after all
the thrill
of the fall
