Her lover hadn't called in days She could feel him pulling away So she read Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus The chapter about how men are like rubber bands And she figured he just needed some space Well he had it, a couple hundred miles of it. Still she couldn't stop thinking about him So she called her friend to go to the bar She thought she'd drown her sorrows in vino When her friend picked her up in his red BMW His roommate was sitting in the front seat Trouble. She'd always had steamy fantasies about him Her friend was buying... A Fat Tire A Mike's Lemonade A glass of Riesling And another Too many for a school night. She blabbed on and on at the bartender About her favorite places in Switzerland and Spain "You have to go there, it's utterly beautiful." At the end of the evening she found herself in the roomate's king-sized waterbed He wrapped himself around her and fell asleep The way she always wished her lover would, but never did ...Always hungry for affection When he awoke things started to heat up. His lips were big and soft and deliciously squishy She marvelled in the feel of his slight muscles against her subtle curves And his skin was like silk under her fluttering fingers He was everything her lover was not. But it was still her lover that she longed for. |
