emotional toying with what is right and wrong pulled into a memory of what was and no longer can be by choice we fight for strength not fall victim to our weaknesses sometimes i wonder how long the memories will last do they ever subside will they always resurface when least expected brought on by a smell a song, a taste, a touch something that reminds you of them is there a place we can store them place them in a time capsule after all that is what they are time resurfacing minutes, hours, days, years later breathing reliving how do we ever erase from our mind the once upon a time |
