At First At first all I could think of Was her look Radiant and impressive Like the sun glistening off still water Then I noticed her smile Captivating and simple And as she spoke her softness was Ever so present just behind her grin I wondered what this could become This sense of energy and light I had just befallen Like a dream in the still of night Yes she was wonderful Life's love poured out of her It is all she really knew And didn't realize how powerful She was many things To many people And of her loves she counted many yet She learned always to love herself first This became her strength Wherever she went she remembered My opinion is always the first My love is me and I am unique and special So I left her quietly Sipping tea and eating cakes Soaking up the hours with intensity Bringing her beauty at last To a special place deep inside of her soul |
