Last night I was walking my dogs at twilight The moon was rising full Shadows followed me For two miles front to back Then side to side Like they wanted to climb inside Black clouds turned to pearl light And the I miss you all overs Attached themselves to my feet And rose with that ole moon Until my eyes could feel the almost gloom Now that moon sits up so high Shadows are chasing stars and not my sighs But don't worry Darlin Tomorrow will be another day I'll put on a happy face Tell you that I love you so That black pearl moons got nothing on me A kiss of sun and I'll be zooming Crooning love tunes in pulsing beats That will have forgotten That black cloud covered moons defeat (c)bk |
