This won't be the last time I'll cry, But these are my last tears for you. I think it's time I get on with my life and realize that we're through. This won't be the last sad poem written in the middle of the night, But this is the last one about you That I'm ever going to write. This won't be the last sad sigh I waste on someone who doesn't love me. But never again will I try to act like the girl I think you would want me to be. This won't be the last slow dance with you or the last moment that had to end But this is the last time I'll wish That you were more than just my friend. It's time to face the fact That we really are through And I know I'll lose my heart again But never again to you. |
