The catcher sits back and waits for them... the ones who fall... He never really knows why he does it, never really know why he even bothers, but he does it anyway... The woman on board track 12 was on her worst day and the catcher was right on time... he catches everyone who falls... whether they fall in love, fall in hate, fall in depression... he catches everyone who falls... And then he goes home at the end of the day all worn out... his fingers and arms are heavily bruised because of too much catching. He sometimes wished he did something else but he knew no one will take his place. It hurt a lot. It was work that had no form of guarantee whatsoever. He strives to be strong for all of them but at the end of the day he just has to cry... enveloped in his own falling detriment... the catcher having no one to catch him. |
