SEEKING OUR SUNSETS

quiet, blazing magical colors that abound
communicating something more profound
sunset's gentle leaving of senses around

in tidepools eyes, our loving arms mingle
as darkness falls; urgencies finally tingle
to seek no roof, no more aloof, nor single

lack of color portends, not us, these ends
each contemplating, to his needs attends
to seek proof, and seek to make amends
